Monday Morning Manipulation – Gladstone Park

Well, hello, hello my friends… Now I know it has been a while since I brought you one of the “world famous” (I do exaggerate) Monday Morning Manipulations. What with the redesign and all, I have been a little busy bee.

The idea behind the Monday Morning Manipulations is well, just a bit of fun. I am no photographer, I say it again and again, there are plenty of travel bloggers/photographers out there with some good stuff. I however am a travel blogger/graphic designer… a magic whiz at photoshop I say (exaggeration again) But I do love to practise on my travel photos. and I do love nothing more then to have a bit of fun with before and after artworks of photos, so on a Monday Morning (in some time zones) when your stuck at work with the daily grind, I say grab yourself a coffee and ramage through some photoshop fun.

The idea is to use the sliders or before and after buttons and get an idea of the original photo, followed by my photoshoped version, which I tend to try and photoshop to show the way I felt at the time when taking the photo. Some will be good, some will be failures that I create for a bit of a laugh. Either way…. enjoy!

Monday Morning Manipulation

This photo was taken when I moved to North West London after getting my design job. I had created a post with pictures of the park and just a few silly photoshop before and afters, feel free to check them out here. However at the end of that post I did say that I will save the best for last…

In this photo my idea was to turn an ordinary snapshot into something with a little more nostolgia to it. Give it an old world, London feel and put some emotion behind the snap shot. When looking at it, try no to imagine it as just a before and after, but try and think more about the after and the feeling it is trying to convey..
